Al-Noor Journal of Physical and Sport Sciences (NJPSS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by Al-Noor University, Iraq. The journal was established in January 2025 and publishes two issues per year.
NJPSS publishes original research articles, review articles, and other scholarly contributions in the fields of physical education, sport sciences, sports training, biomechanics, sports psychology, sports management, motor learning, rehabilitation, and related disciplines.
The journal does not charge any article processing charges (APCs), submission fees, or publication fees. All stages of manuscript submission, peer review, and publication are provided free of charge to authors.
All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to, and reuse the published content, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors and source.
The journal applies a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed during the review process. Submitted manuscripts are evaluated by qualified reviewers based on their originality, scientific quality, methodological rigor, relevance, and contribution to the field.
To support academic integrity and originality, submitted manuscripts are screened using iThenticate plagiarism-detection software before being accepted for publication.
